HEARTS IN, HANDS-ON, OUTSIDE THE BOX CONSULTING+

What are Lucel's areas of specialty?

We love spaces where challenge and opportunity converge: in change management, leadership development, and capacity building. As a framework, we've found that these areas encompass a wide range of solutions, some common and others that are more unique and specialized. Examples include:

  • Crisis response

  • Workflow systems

  • Succession planning

  • Purposeful governance

  • Documentation and policy audits

  • Rightsizing staffing hierarchies

  • Equitable team development, including hiring practices

  • Interim leadership coaching

  • Compelling public speaking

  • Dynamic feedback systems

  • Retention roadmaps

A few things we don't do but are happy to provide referrals for: fundraising campaigns, special event management, and various professional services, like financial audits or staff recruitment.

Do I need coaching... or do I need consulting?

Consulting typically addresses program- or organizational-level needs, while coaching really centers the individual. Now, we believe coaching is a highly beneficial resource every leader deserves and should be able to access. But it can be particularly useful when one's organization is going through changes in its structure, strategy, staffing, or programs. For that reason, many of our clients pair consulting—program- and organizational level solutions—with coaching to ensure their leaders have comprehensive support to meet every moment with confidence, care, and consistency.

If you would like to explore solutions best suited to your situation, let's connect.

How much does it cost to work with Lucel?

We believe in transparency in our work, including our pricing. While each project is defined by the scope of work, timeline, and deliverables, here are some general ways we approach pricing.

Consulting: We scope each project to get to the outcomes you want. We work with your budget, including sliding scale rates for smaller or less resourced nonprofits, to find the right balance of project outcomes and cost.

Coaching: First-time coaching engagements are typically a minimum of 12 weeks so that, together, we can devote the time and attention your goals deserve. That said, shorter periods are possible with ongoing or past clients.

Average pricing (weekly meetings):

12 weeks $8,750

24 weeks $16,000

52 weeks $26,000

Does Lucel only work with nonprofit organizations?

While most of our institutional clients are nonprofits, including private and public grantmaking foundations, service providers, and advocacy groups, we also welcome other corporations invested in social good. If in doubt, just reach out.
